Submitting to Requests

Submitting to Requests:

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Go to the Request Details page and click on the Submit Your Project button.
  2. Fill in the form about the details of your project. Note: You can post more than one submission to a request.
  3. Monitor the rating that your and others’ submissions receive from the request holder. Communicate with the client through the Submission or Request Comments tab to ask for clarifications and feedback, privately or publicly.
  4. The day the request closes, or a short time after, you will find out if the client has selected your submission as a winner. If you don’t win, you may choose to convert your submission to a Portfolio Project that you can sell in the Gallery.
  5. If your project wins, the next step is getting deliverables to your client.
    • Media Files: Upload to MuseValley. If your project consists of more than one file, upload them as a .ZIP file, or attach additional files in private message to your client.
    • Physical Products: Ask your client for a shipping address and preferred courier. Ship your project, then upload a photocopy of your delivery receipt to MuseValley and send additional photos of your project to your client via private message.
  6. Once your client receives and accepts your deliverables through MuseValley, you will receive payment to your MuseValley Wallet. You can message your client at any time to check on the status of your shipment.

Where can I monitor my request submissions?

  • Through MySubmissions under MyMuse

Selling in the Gallery:

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Post your work to the Gallery and set your price. Make sure you include relevant Tags (keywords) and a title that will help clients find your work easily through a search.
  2. You will receive a notification when someone requests to purchase your project. Clients may ask you to customize your project as well.
  3. Decide whether you’d like to approve or deny a request to purchase. This includes approving, discussing, or denying any requested customizations. Remember, no matter how many requests you receive, you may only approve one. However, you may duplicate your project to sell again if you do not transfer ownership of IP Rights to your buyer.
  4. Once approved, the client will make a deposit the amount of your listed price to MuseValley and you will be notified to deliver your project.
  5.  Delivery:
    • Media Files: Upload to MuseValley. If your project consists of more than one file, upload them as a .ZIP file, or attach additional files in private message to your buyer.
    • Physical Products: Ask your client for a shipping address and preferred courier. Ship your project, then upload a photocopy of your delivery receipt to MuseValley and send additional photos of your project to your client via private message.
  6. Once your buyer receives and accepts your deliverables through MuseValley, you will receive payment to your MuseValley Wallet. You can message your client at any time to check on the status of your shipment.
  7. Once the sale has been completed, you may choose to duplicate your project to sell once more if your project’s IP Rights are available.
